Tondoba Bay A very relaxed dive camp area with simple accommodation and good diving on the doorstep, great if you are a traveller or back packer.

Um Tondoba Dive Camp Probably the most chilled out dive camp in Egypt, the pace is slow, music good, the people friendly, great place to hang out and do some dives. Can be a little 'too relaxed' for serious divers.

Location: Tondoba bay is located 14 km south of Marsa Alam in the south of Egypt. Um Tondoba Dive Camp is set back in the desert about 450m from the sea on a small hill. There are now another 5 camps next to each other and Tondoba is slowly developing into a small community.

AccommodationSimple African style huts, and chalets with bathrooms modeled on traditional Egyptian houses from upper Egypt. There is a bar on top of the hill, simple restaurant, showers and toilets.

Diving: The diving is suitable for level all divers. The extended house reef is very good but needs to be dived by boat. There are 14 local dive sites all accessible by boat. The camp also offers day boat to Samadai ( dolphin house reef ) which is opposite the camp as well as dives to Abu Dabab and the wreck at Abu Gosoom.
