Customer testimonials

Jesper Østergaard,
Trimix Instructor Trainer, Owner of  Stevns Dykkerskole

After having organized several tours with Red Sea Safaris, and I can say I am a very satisfied customer. Since the nature of our diving is Hardcore Technical, we require a product, which no one else has been able to deliver. The boat M/V Tala can cater for serious Technical Divers, and I have not been able to find this on other boats in The Red Sea. It is fully capable of handling all sorts of technical diving. Often I have been in situations where I have been promised full support of Rebreathers and gasses, but just as often been disappointed. The crew aboard Tala has never let me down.

Dealing with Red Sea Safaris is always a pleasure. I like to be a part of the planning of all trips and leave nothing to chance, and I was given qualified information and the planning worked both ways. You can feel that RSS keep a sharp eye on the boats they sell, and if anything is reported broken or missed, I can see that it is immediately been taken care of. It is quite a challenge to set up a technical group tour, so it has been important to me that all agreements where clear and accurate, and to see that they where kept, when we actually got there. Stuff you expect from a serious travel company.

I give Red Sea Safaris my full recommendations.

A professional point of view...

”I was lucky enough to join M/Y Rosetta and her crew on a liveaboard to the Deep South of Egypt. I have done live-aboards many places in the World, but I have never experienced such a professional crew as M/Y Rosetta’s.
Help was always there before you knew you needed it. A great and recommendable platform for any dive experience.

I highly recommend Red Sea Safaris for dive or adventure travel to the Red Sea. They are very professional, always helpful, and without doubt have expert knowledge of the region and the diving.

A great experience in life…

This is how one of the 16 participants from last years Red Sea trip descriped his experiences.

The last two years we have been 16 very experienced divers from Norresundby Sportdiving Club, in The Red Sea. And together with Dave we are already setting up next years liveaboard. That boat will depart sometime in spring 2009 and this time we want to see “the big animals”: Sharks, Mantaray and wrecks – naturally! As mentioned – we are all very experienced divers and are used to plan our own trips and do things our own way. One of our main concerns has therefore been to have the biggest possible influence on planning, setting up the dive destinations and get the boat to go there. Throughout the process we have met great understanding for all our needs and a great deal of flexibility from Red Sea Safaris, both before and during the trip. Immediately when we arrived we where invited in by the crew and asked about our wishes and needs for the diving. This repeated itself every night when next days diving where planned. Before each dive we had a good and thorough briefing and talked all the dive plans through, which raised our comfort level dramatically.

To us – all agreements about our own equipment and the stuff we had to hire, transfers, the food and service – has to be taken care of in advance since all we want when we are “out there” is to dive, eat, sleep and… well. All these elements have always been 110% clear and in order.
We highly want to recommend Red Sea Safaris to all other clubs and individual divers.

Since 2004 I have taught diving at Gymnastik and idrætshøjskolen in Viborg, We have two annual trips to the Red Sea. This year I used "Red Sea Safaris" for the first time as the tour operator, and it is certainly not be the last.

We were a group of 16 as on-board  Golden Emperor II, to participate in a "Northern Wreck and reef Safari." In the week we had 22 fantastic dives, with a good progression in difficulty and increasing the quality of dive sites. The group was all OWD divers when they arrived and through the week the students took 4 full specialties and their AOWD certificate.

The dive guides were very helpful  finding good spots to make the different course dives.
The whole week was marked by great professionalism. From the pickup at the airport to the end of the trip - the dive guides, the boat staff, the food, the liveaboard, and the diving.

It is clear that Red Sea Safaris have a local knowledge which gives the trip the little extra!!
Thank you for a good trip, I am already looking forward to the next trip.

Together with my 3 diving frends, we decided to use the Red Sea Safaris for at trip on a live-a-board to the south part of the Red Sea. We received highly professional treatment thruoghout the entire planning phase. Some of the questions that we discussed were f. ex. what is a normal day on a live-a-board? Where will we be for the last day before our return flight home?

All of this information was prepared on handy information sheets that Dave had on premise. When we arrived at the Egypt airport we were picked up by a bus and transported directly to the boat. The boat we decided on was called Sweet Dreams and this turned out to be a good decision. Sweet dreams was a great boat and the crew was extremely helpful.  All-in-all, we had a great week with amazing dives and I would no doubt recommend Red Sea Safaris to anybody that is looking for a great diving experience in the Red Sea.
