Free Diving

The Red Sea is one of the best destinations for free divers. Excellent visability, fantastic marine life, warm water and easy access to deep water mean that more and more free divers are spending time in Egypt to train, compete at international level, and pleasure dive.

Famous names like Umberto Pelazzari run training camps in the Red sea, and most of the European teams train there on a regular basis. Last year AIDA ran the world championships in Makadi bay near Hurghada, and we are happy to say the Danish team won the event.

The reason they all choose the Red Sea are the perfect conditions for the sport.

Red Safaris is working along side Danish Free Diving Team member and world champion Peter Pedersen, and Swedish team member Annalie Pompe to offer Red Sea Free diving trips.

As well as the traditional shore based trips we are the first to offer Free Diving Liveaboards. Peter and Annalie will use there experience to guide as well as teach Free diving in the waters of Southern Egypt until now only enjoyed by Scuba divers. Onboard guests can enjoy Yoga, unlimited free diving, and meditation sessions as well as the usual comforts of life onboard our boats.
